Eligibility
- Nationality: Individuals must be Haitian nationals or people without nationality who last resided in Haiti.
- Continuous Residence: Applicants must have been continuously residing in the U.S. since June 3, 2024.
- Continuous Physical Presence: Applicants must be continuously physically present in the U.S. since August 4, 2024.
- Criminal History: Cannot be convicted of a felony or two or more misdemeanors.
Current Status
- Haiti was redesignated for TPS on August 4, 2024. Individuals who have not yet filed for TPS have until February 3, 2026 to file.
- Individuals who previously had TPS, were required to renew before August 30, 2024.
