Biden’s new parole program is a government initiative aimed at providing temporary legal status to certain groups of immigrants, including those married to U.S. citizens. The program allows eligible individuals to live and work in the United States for a specified period while they seek permanent residency or other forms of legal status. This program will also provide a lawful entry for individuals to seek adjustment of status to that of a permanent resident.
Objectives and Goals of the Program
The primary objective of the parole program is to reunite families, provide protection to vulnerable immigrants, and streamline the immigration process for those with strong ties to the U.S. By offering a clear pathway to legal status, the program aims to reduce the backlog of immigration cases and promote family unity.
